Yoga began the building blocks to balance my unbalanced life. A wife and mother of 5 with lots of fur babies, I was always over doing everything! I busied myself in order to run from the silence that filled my mind space. One day the signs aligned that allowed an inner connection to my body and its boundaries on my mat. In 2012, my off the mat practice began when I completed Yoga Teacher Training here at Jiva Yoga Center. Although I do enjoy the physical practice and staying fit, I have recognized the need for balance and to be grounded enough to love the silence and stillness.
After a 4 year separation of states, I am beyond grateful to be back in the community, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones!
