I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I discovered yoga when I was 17, and absolutely fell in love with the magic of connecting to your own body. I love that yoga provides strength, not only in the physical body, but also within the mind, breath, and soul.
Shortly after I went to college, I began exploring the world of yoga. At that point, I knew I wanted to teach. I moved to Hilton Head in 2018 and shortly after discovered Jiva Yoga. Practicing at Jiva, I was inspired by all of the types of yoga offered, and this re-sparked my passion to learn.
I am a self-proclaimed beach bum and I love being outdoors in nature, especially lounging in the sunshine! When Covid came in 2020, I would wake up in the mornings and do yoga on the beach. My roommates caught on, and asked if they could join. This was the beginning of my teaching journey.
In the winter of 2022, I decided to take a leap and dive deeper into my practice by becoming an instructor. After spending a few months in the jungles of Costa Rica, I received my RYT-200 with Sacred Paths Yoga.
Upon returning back to the states, I began teaching beach yoga, exploring different flows and ideas that I could incorporate into my classes. In my classes I encourage finding the body-breath connection, dropping into the present moment, listening to our bodies, and tapping into our strength within, all while flowing creatively and nourishing our souls. Bringing love and gratitude forward!
In 2023, I returned to Sacred Paths to complete my training in the art of Yoga Nidra. I have a strong passion for continuing my education and expanding my knowledge in different types of healing.
When Iām not teaching, you can find me lounging on the beach, working in my garden with my cat Maya, or traveling to new places. Forever learning and embracing new cultures and adventures life throws my way!
